09:00 – Pickup at Wakayama Port

09:15 – 10:15 – Wakayama Castle (和歌山城)
Climb to this hilltop castle rebuilt after World War II, where you’ll explore museum exhibits of samurai armor and weapons. Walk the castle grounds, admire cherry blossoms in spring, and enjoy panoramic views of Wakayama city.
10:30 – 11:00 – Kishū Tōshōgū Shrine (紀州東照宮)
Visit this ornate Shinto shrine honoring Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Edo shogunate. Known as the “Nikko of Kansai,” the shrine features brilliant carvings, vermilion gates, and peaceful wooded surroundings.
